Intelligent textiles

This is a concept of an interactive pad at buss stops and other public spaces. The instrument is supposed to invite people to interact with other waiting passengers and passers by.

 

Intelligent textiles

Future scenarios for the use of smart textiles in products.

This product is a study of future applications for modern, high tech, and intelligent textiles. The results from the project were presented on television in the program “Schrödinger’s Katt”, NRK.

A product with new textiles can have many exiting qualities. The materials are light, flexible, compactable, thin, breathing, durable, scaleable, and much more.

  
The textile can recognize different human gestures, such as bending down, stroking, hitting, stretching out, folding, etc. This makes for many possible types of interaction between the user and the product.
